Patti Komara began teaching tumbling in 1969 in a church hall.  From that beginning with 30 students, her company presently has an enrollment of 1800 per year.  She is married to Bob, a retired Lake Central High School teacher, and a football coach for Crown Point High Schoo.  Patti has two children, Kelly who is an assistant coach for Woman's Basketball at Auburn  University in Auburn Alabama and Joe who lives in New York City and is an actor, singer, and dancer.  Patti has produced more than 60 videotapes and has written seven books to train gymnastics instructors worldwide. She also is an international speaker educating gymnastics staffs around the world.
