The Swim Staff

Nicole Gainer ( Pool Manager, Kids Night Out Manager, Gymnastics and Swim Teacher), Nicole has worked here at All-American for twelve years as a swim instructor and is our pool manager.  She has coached swimming for twenty-one years. She has been heralded as one of the most fantastic instructors working with children in the water.  She was assistant coach at Munster and Lake Central swim club. Nicole has been the head coach and assistant coach for East Chicago High School and Bishop Noll Institute. Nicole has been an aquatic director at various YMCA's and country clubs in Northwest Indiana and Illinois.  She is a gymnastics instructor here at All-American and has previously taught gymnastics for Tumblebear Gym on Wheels. She also is American Red Cross First Aid, Adult, Child and Infant CPR certified as well as a Water Safety Instructor.  Nicole assists with our Gym-N-Learn Program and Runs our Kids Night Out program.
Katherine Markiewicz (Swim Teacher), taught swim at Patti's All-American for two years.  She was an assistant coached with the Lake Central Barracudas age group swim club.  She also was captain of the Lake Central Swim team and taught swimming for three years at Lake Central High School.  She currently is assistant swim coach with the Crown Point age-group swim club.  Katherine is American Red Cross First Aid, Adult, Child and Infant CPR certified as well as American Red Cross Advanced Lifesaving.  Katherine currently attends DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana majoring in communications and sociology.
Taylor Weltmeyer (Swim Teacher) is part of our swim staff.  Taylor was a competitive swimmer at Lake Central High School for two years.  She also swam with the Lake Central Barracuda swim club for three years.  Taylor taught swim classes at Omni 41 Club.  She is certified in American Red Cross First Aid, Adult, Child and Infant CPR and is certified as a Water Safety Instructor and Lifeguard.  Taylor lives at home with Mom, Dad and D.J. her brother.
Kristin McDermott (Swim Teacher) is part of our swim staff this year. Kristin was a competitive swimmer with the Lake Central Barracuda swim club for three years.  She is certified in American Red Cross First Aid, Adult, Child and Infant CPR and is certified as a Lifeguard. Kristin also took gymnastics here at Patti's All-American for four years.  Kristin lives at home in Dyer with Mom, sister, Danielle and dog named Holly. 
Lyndsay Wagner (Swim Teacher) is part of our swim staff this year.  Lyndsay has been a lifeguard for four years.  She was a  competitive swimmer on the Lake Central swim team for four years and was chosen as captain of the swim team during her senior year.  Lyndsay is certified as a life guard and in American Red Cross First Aid and Adult, Child, and Infant CPR.   

Sara Frey  (Swim Teacher) is back again with our swim staff this year.  Sara Frey has taught swimming at Lake Central High School.  She is certified in American Red Cross First Aid, Adult, Child and Infant CPR and is certified as a Water Safety Instructor and Advanced Lifesaving.  She resides in Crown Point.
