The Swim Staff

Nicole Gainer ( Pool Manager, Kids Night Out Manager, Gymnastics and Swim Teacher), Nicole has worked here at All-American for thirteen years as a swim instructor and is our pool manager.  She has coached swimming for twenty-three years. She has been heralded as one of the most fantastic instructors working with children in the water.  She was assistant coach at Munster and Lake Central swim club. Nicole has been the head coach and assistant coach for East Chicago High School and Bishop Noll Institute. Nicole has been an aquatic director at various YMCA's and country clubs in Northwest Indiana and Illinois.  She is a gymnastics instructor here at All-American and has previously taught gymnastics for Tumblebear Gym on Wheels. She also is American Red Cross First Aid, Adult, Child and Infant CPR certified as well as a Water Safety Instructor (WSI).  Nicole assists with our Gym-N-Learn Program and Runs our Kids Night Out program.

Taylor Weltmeyer (Swim Teacher) is part of our swim staff.  Taylor was a competitive swimmer at Lake Central High School for two years.  She also swam with the Lake Central Barracuda swim club for three years.  Taylor taught swim classes at Omni 41 Club.  She is certified in American Red Cross First Aid, Adult, Child and Infant CPR and is certified as a Water Safety Instructor (WSI) and Lifeguard.  Taylor lives at home with Mom, Dad and D.J. her brother.

Katherine Markiewicz (Swim Teacher) is part of our swim staff. This is her fifth year teaching here at All-American.  Katherine graduated from Lake Central High School as the captain of varsity swimming team. Katherine coached for Lake Central Barracudas for three years and for the Crown Point Swim Club for four years. She is certified as a life guard and Water Safety Instructor (WSI).  She is also certified in American Red Cross First Aid, Adult, Child and Infant CPR. Katherine is also certified in a Safety Training for swim coaches.  Katherine attends Depauw University majoring in sociology and graduating next spring.  

 

Kristin McDermott (Swim Teacher) is part of our swim staff this year. Kristin was a competitive swimmer with the Lake Central Barracuda swim club for three years.  She is certified in American Red Cross First Aid, Adult, Child and Infant CPR and is certified as a Lifeguard. Kristin also took gymnastics here at Patti's All-American for four years.  Kristin lives at home in Dyer with Mom, sister, Danielle and dog named Holly. 

Robert Kaczmarczyk (Swim Teacher) is part of our swim staff this year.  Bob comes with great experience and knowledge.  Bob's been a lifeguard for nine years and a swim instructor for seven years.  He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology.  He currently is a personal fitness instructor.  He holds a personal training certification from the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and the National Academy of Sport Medicine (NASM). Bob also holds advanced certifications as a Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) and as a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES).  Bob is also the aquatics supervisor, swim instructor and lifeguard at Lifetime fitness in Orland Park, IL.   Bob is certified with American Heart Association in First Aid and Adult, Child, and Infant CPR.  Bob is recently engaged and lives in Highland.  

Kaley Juran (Swim Teacher) is part of our swim staff this year at All-American.  Kaley graduated from Lake Central High School.  She swam on the Lake Central Swim team swimming the 100 yard dash and relays for four years.  Kaley was a lifeguard for Lake Centrals freshman pool classes where she also taught swim classes.  Kaley is American Red Cross certified in American Red Cross and Advanced Life saving. Kaley is enrolled in the pre-med program at IUPUI in Indianapolis. Kaley resides in Crown Point with her parents.  

Cassie Chorak - (Swim Teacher) is part of our swim staff this year.  Cassie graduated from Purdue, Lafayette with a degree in Elementary Education.   She also is American Red Cross First Aid, Adult, Child and Infant CPR certified as well as a Water Safety Instructor (WSI).
