Rebecca (Pool Director) swam competitively from age 4 through college. She taught and coached for the Milbrook Country Club Lions in Connecticut for 5 years while she was in high school and college. Rebecca is a happy mom of three children. She is certified in adult, child, and infant CPR, First Aid, and Advanced Lifesaving
Scott Kallas, – Utilitiesman First Class (E6) SEABEE, (Ninja Zone Instructor). Scott and his wife Jamie are extremely proud parents of two children who attend classes here at Patti’s All-American. Scott is a certified EMT in the state of Indiana, works for Hines Veterans Administration, and has proudly served as a Utilitiesman First Class (E6) SEABEE in the United States Navy for 18 years. Scott also has been deployed five times over his career, three to Iraq, one to Cuba, and one to Afghanistan. He resides in Crown Point with his family.
Meghan joins our swim staff this year. She swam on the LWSA Gators (Lincoln-Way Swim Association) and was a double varsity athlete in Swimming and Water Polo for four years. She taught swim lessons for six years at both Lincoln Way Central and as a lifeguard/swim instructor at the JCC Day Camp in Floosmoor, IL. She is certified in Advanced Lifesaving, First Aid and CPR. She is attending at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois majoring in business marketing and communications.
Diane Spevacek (Senior Vice-President of Operations, Facility Manager, and Asst. Tumblebear Manager) has been teaching at All-American since 1989. She brings a lot of enthusiasm and love of her job and is a former gymnastic student of Patti’s Gymnastics. Diane has been certified by USA Gymnastics, Preschool Fundamentals, Kinder Accreditation for Teachers and is Safety Certified. She is also certified in American Red Cross CPR and First Aid. Diane and her husband, Scott, reside in St. John. Her daughter, Nicole, was a teacher here and now lives in Chicago. Diane attended numerous classes during the 2005 USA National Gymnastics Congress in Indianapolis as well as attending a national preschool workshop in Chicago, and Region V Congress in Columbus, Ohio. Rhonda Zaluckyj (Senior Vice-President of Sales and Tumblebear Preschool Manager) Rhonda brings much enthusiasm to her job and loves being around children. Rhonda is American Red Cross First Aid, Adult, Child and Infant CPR certified as well as certified by USA Gymnastics for Preschool Fundamentals. She also began her speaking career at Patti’s 2008 at the “I Love Gymnastics” workshop. Since then, she has spoken around the country at various gymnastics schools and conferences. Since 2012, Rhonda has been a guest speaker at the USA Gymnastics National Gymnastics Conference. She is also a National Instructor for USA Gymnastics and certifies other gymnastics instructors in Preschool Fundamentals. She is always learning new things and makes her class the place to be! Terra Lorenz (School-Age Manager and Instructor). Terra took gymnastics lessons for ten years. She was on the pom-pom squad at T.F. South High School. She coached cheerleading and gymnastics through the Lansing Parks Department as well as girls softball for the last six years. Terra graduated in August 2012 from Calumet College of St. Joseph with a bachelor degree in Elementary Education. She loves working with children and can’t wait to share her knowledge of gymnastics with them. Terra is certified with American Heart Association in First Aid and Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and USAG Safety Certified too. She lives in Highland with her husband, Stephen Lorenz. Teagan McCormack (Gymnastics Instructor) has taken lesson here at PAA for 10 years. She has been the All-Around winner seven times for our highest level tumbling, the Elite Level. Teagan loves working with children and looks forward to helping your children reach their goals. She is a graduate of Lake Central High School and currently goes to South Suburban College. Brenna McCormack (Gymnastics Instructor). Brenna has taken six years of gymnastics and tumbling at Patti’s. She is enrolled in all honors and AP classes at Lake Central High School. Brenna loves to sing and plays the trumpet and piano. She has a twin sister named Brianna, and her older sister Teagan is also employed at Patti’s. Tracy Stella (General Office Manager, Marketing Manager, Pro Shop Manager, and Swim Manager) graduated in May 2002 from Purdue University Calumet with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. Tracy took gymnastics lessons here at Patti’s and has taught gymnastics for eight years. Tracy is USA Gymnastics Safety certified as well as certified in American Red Cross First Aid and CPR. She has attended USA Gymnastics National Congress. Tracy has been with Patti’s All-American staff since 1997. She lives with her husband Rich and daughter Adrianna in Dyer, Indiana. Mariah joins Patti’s this year as a swim instructor. She swam competitively in the Lansing Swim Organization for over eight years and swam at the Varsity level while attending Thornton Fractional South High School. Mariah is currently a teacher at the Lansing Illinois School District 158 and teaches grades K-8. She is also a private music lesson instructor for all ages. She has over two years of teaching experience and graduated with her Bachelor’s degree from DePauw University. She is also CPR and first aide certified. Mariah currently lives in Dyer.
Kaitie Janich (Gymnastics Instructor) started in gymnastics here at All-American. She was a cheerleader on the Lake Central JV Cheerleading squad for two years and competed in numerous cheerleading competitions including winning First Place at the Chicago Bulls Cheer competition and Third Place in the State of Indiana. Robin Arvanitis (Dance Manager and Special Events Manager) began dancing at the age of three. She took locally until she was eight years old, and then continued training at Birmingham Southern College, Chicago City Ballet, Masi Ballet, Ruth Page, Ellis DuBoulay, and Lou Conte. She was accepted at Joffrey Ballet of New York City in 1989, but decided to begin a teaching career instead. Robin had her own studio until the spring of 1998 when she joined the staff at Patti’s All-American. Robin has staged over 20 recitals, three professional Nutcrackers, four musicals, dance engagements from 1998 to present at Great America, and numerous parades. Many of her students have gone on to dance at the University of Iowa, Butler, Northern Illinois, Barat College, and the Joffery Ballet of New York, and Chicago Ballet. Some of her students have performed in Showboat, the Arie Crown Nutcracker, and the Great America Review. Robin is certified in American Red Cross First Aid and CPR. She also is Cheer and Dance Coordiantor for Indiana Pop Warner which has won four National Dance Titles and has taken 24 teams to the Pop Warner Nationals at Walt Disney World. She also coaches the only “Tiny Might” team to be invited to nationals continuously to represent Pop Warner Tiny Dance. Robin resides in Schererville, with her husband, Tim, and their two children, Riley and Renn. Amy Pataky (Gym-N-Learn Director and Ready-2-Learn Instructor), took gymnastic lessons at Shirley’s in Crown Point for eight years and here at Patti’s for six years. She was hired originally in 1991 and was employed for eight years during her high school and college years. After receiving a B.A. in Elementary Education degree from Purdue University Calumet and teaching second and fourth grades for five years she decided to return as a gymnastics teacher. She then created the Gym-N-Learn Program–a fitness-based nursery school in NW Indiana. Amy is certified in American Red Cross First Aid and CPR. She also is certified by USA Gymnastics in Preschool Fundamentals, Kinder Accreditation for Teachers, and is Safety Certified. Amy is married and resides in Schererville with her husband Michael and daughter Madalyn. Shari Lucas (Daytime Office Manager, Admin. School-Age Gymnastics Asst., and Asst. Swim Manager) is part of our office staff. Shari has worked as a legal secretary in Chicago. She enjoys spending time with her daughter, Julia, working out, gardening, and reading. Shari lives in Schererville with her husband Marty and daughter Julia.
Yesenia Vidal (pronounced Jay-senia) Vidal, (Gym-N-Learn Manager). As a child Yesenia participated in gymnastics for four years. She was captain of her cheerleading squad in high-school. She has completed a Bachelor of Science and Master of Education degree and taught five years at a Preschool in Illinois. Yesenia resides in Highland with her husband and three children. Bernadette Lopez Sasak, (Patti’s Assistant, Social Media Manager, Park Dept. Director, and IT Manager) Bernadette loves working with and around children. She has been a Girl Scout leader and faith formation teacher. Bernadette has attended many USA National Gymnastics Congresses as well as The National Brain Trust Conference in Las Vegas, NV. She is certified in American Red Cross First Aid and Adult, Child, and Infant CPR. She enjoys shopping (for anything) and spending time with her daughter, Sondra. Bernadette lives in Hobart with her husband Jason.
Jacqueline Andrade (Gym-N-Learn Instructor). Jacqueline has a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. She has been a lead teacher for eight years and a kindergarten teacher for five years. She has received her Montessori Teaching Diploma and Abeka – Homeschool, K5-Kindergarten Curriculum Certification. Jackie loves children and strives to make a difference in their lives. Jackie is certified in American Red Cross First Aid and Adult, Child and Infant CPR. Jackie lives in Hammond with her husband, Miguel and son Caleb.
Emily Maicach (Gymnastics Instructor). Emily brings over eight years of dance and fifteen years of tumbling and trampoline experience. Emily was a Pop Warner, Wilbur Wright Middle School, Munster High School and Ball State cheerleader. Emily is certified with American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid, CPR, and AED. Skyler Sell (Gymnastics Instructors) Sklyer has taken 7 years of gymnastics at Patti’s and a cheerleader for 4 years. She is certified with American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid, CPR, and AED. Skyler attends Lake Central High School where she participates in multiple clubs and is an academic letter winner. Katie Duncan, (Office Administrator, Ninja Zone Manager, and Shift Supervisor). Katie took gymnastics for five years and tumbling for a year. She was a cheerleader for five years too! Katie is excited to be a part of Patti’s All-American and is certified with American Heart Association in First Aid and Adult, Child, and Infant CPR. Katie has a son named Dexter and two daughters Zoey and Ryleigh.
Kennedy Moore (Gymnastics Instructor) brings seven years of dance and gymnastics experience to Patti’s. She was a varsity cheerleader all four years of high school as well as captain of her high school cheerleading team her senior year. Kennedy is a proud honor roll student and National Junior Honor Society member. She is currently a nursing student at Valparaiso University and is certified with American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid, CPR, and AED. Kennedy lives in St. John, Indiana with her mom, dad, brother, and sister. She also has two dogs named Bella and Leo and a guinea pig named Maverick. Becky Koval (Gymnastics Instructor). Becky has taken gymnastics classes for seven years and tumbling classes for five years. She was on a power tumbling team for three years. She placed 5th at the 2011 United States Tumbling and Trampoline Association (USTA) National Competition in West Virginia. Becky lives in Glenwood with her parents, grandpa, sister and two dogs.
Ashley Banach (Gymnastics Instructor and Birthday Party Hostess). She has taken lessons in dance, figure skating, gymnastics, tumbling, and swimming. Ashley has always been in poms and cheerleading since grade school. She enjoys being around children of all ages. She is certified in American Red Cross First Aid and Adult, Child and Infant CPR. Brittany Busby (Dance and Gymnastics Instructor) Brittany attends Valpo University. Brittany loves to dance and has been took dance lessons at Patti’s for 13 years. Brittany passed the Fast Track Training System for Preschool and School-Age Gymnastics, attended multiple gymnastics training workshops by national gymnastics expert Steve Lopacki, and is also CPR and First Aid certified. Renn Arvanitis (Dance Instructor) has taken gymnastics and dance lessons since she was two years old. Jessica Buikema (Office Administrator, Asst. Special Events Manager, Public Relations Manager, and Media Manager). Jessica graduated in May 1999 from Purdue University Calumet with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Human Resources. Jessica brings to All-American marketing experience from two banks. She also is co-owner and event specialist of an event planning company that specializes in fundraisers as well as a board of director for the Northwest Indiana Cancer Kids Foundation. She is certified with American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid, CPR, and AED. Jessica resides in Schererville with her husband, Steve and her four daughters, Peyton, Paige, Brooke, and Taylor. She loves spending time with her family and her four dogs, reading, and riding horses.
Sara swam competitively at Union Township Swim Club for seven years. Sara was a swim instructor at the Wheeler Swim Clinic, and she has been teaching swim lessons for five years. Sara also worked as a lifeguard at Deep River Waterpark. She is certified in Advanced Lifesaving, AED, First Aid, adult and infant CPR, and is a Water/Safety Instructor. Sara lives in Valparaiso with her parents.
Kaitlyn is an experienced lifeguard with the Munster High School aquatic center. She swam with the Munster Swim Club for four years, and after that she joined the Munster High School cheerleading team. Now, along with life guarding she baby sits locally and is a hostess at Gelsosomos Pizzeria . Kaitlyn is certified in Advanced Lifesaving, CPR, AED, First Aid, and is a Water/Safety Instructor.
Lisa Banach, (Office Administrator) graduated in 2007 from Purdue University with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management. She took gymnastics, dance and swim lessons while growing up in Tampa, Florida. Lisa enjoys singing along to Disney songs, training for 5k’s, and cuddling up with a good book. She is certified with American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid, CPR, and AED. Her daughters are current students at Patti’s. She lives with her husband Matt, and daughters Alison and Eleanor in Munster, IN.
Hannah Studer (Gymnastic Instructor) Hannah started taking gymnastics and dance here at PAA when she was two. She stopped taking dance lessons to pursue competitive tumbling. In 2014 she won the Level 10 National Tumbling title after winning the state and regional. With six years of gymnastics lessons, 10 years of dance, and 14 years of tumbling, she’s excited to teach others what she loves. Serenity Serrano (Gymnastics Instructor). Serenity was an advanced tumbler at Patti’s for four years and was a cheerleader at Kahler Middle School for two years. Serenity is an honor student at Lake Central and will be graduating a year early and is also CPR and First Aid certified. She lives in Dyer with her mom and stepfather and has five sisters and one brother. Serenity loves working with children and is excited to share her experience with your child. Ashley O’Donnell (Office Administrator) Ashley is a current nursing student and has attended Purdue University Northwest, Indiana University Northwest and Ivy Tech Community College. When not in school, she enjoys spending her time cooking, baking, and reading. Her favorite pastime is going to baseball games with friends and traveling as much as possible. Ashley resides in Dyer with her cat, Binx.
Natalie began swimming competitively at eight years old and was a varsity swimmer for four years in high school at Lake Central. She has ten years experience teaching swim lessons to all ages and life guarding. She was a high school and age group swim coach for four years. She is currently a special education teacher at Thomas Jefferson Middle School in Valparaiso. She is also certified in First Aid and CPR.
Angelica Zellers – (Gymnastics and Ninja Zone Instructor). Alissa is the Director of the National Honor Society at Crown Point High School and has been dancing at Patti’s All-American for 14 years and taking gymnastics here for 15 years. She has competed with the Tri-Town Raiderettes, winning National Championships in 2008, 2013, and 2014. She lives in Cedar Lake with her mom, dad, two sisters, and her brother. Her oldest sister Alissa Zellers works at Patti’s All-American too!

Kelli Devine (Gymnastics Instructor) graduated from Indiana State University with a degree in Exercise Science. She has two children, Taylor and David, and a wonderful husband who also happens to be her best friend. She has been a fitness instructor and a personal trainer for the over 25 years. Kelli is also certified by USA Gymnastics, Kinder Accreditation for Teachers that is the highest level for teaching preschool gymnastics. Kelli also is USA Gymnastics safety certified and Preschool Fundamentals certified. She was a competitive swimmer, tri-athlete and a body builder. Kelli is First Aid and CPR certified, AFAA and Ace certified for group fitness and personal training. She’s is also a member of I.D.E.A. – International Dance and Exercise Association. Lindsey Graham (Gymnastics Instructor) has taken four years of dance and five years of gymnastics at Patti’s, along with six years of tumbling. Lindsey was a cheerleader for six years, including one year as a Lake Central Varsity Cheerleader. She is an academic letter winner and a straight-A student. Lindsey lives in Schererville with her dad, mom, brother, and two dogs. She is very excited to share her experience with your children and to help them achieve their gymnastics goals. Shelby Downen (Gymnastics Instructor) Shelby started taking gymnastics here at Patti’s when she was three. She continued with tumbling classes for 15 years, where she was also on an All-Star Cheerleading Team that won grand champion and advanced to World’s in 2011. Her stunt group took 1st place at state in Indianapolis. She was also a varsity cheerleader all four years of high school. Shelby also took two years of dance classes, and attended Columbia College in Chicago for one year where she learned hip-hop, jazz, African, modern and ballet. Peyton Buikema (Special Events). Peyton attends Lake Central High School where she enjoys taking part in Spanish Club and the Best Buddies program. When not in school she enjoys horseback riding and time with her cat, four pet mini dachshunds, and of course her sisters. She is also the Treasurer of Happy Wranglers 4-H Club. She has taken dance and gymnastics classes at Patti’s since she was three. Her mom, Jessica works in the office here at Patti’s and is also our Public Relations Manager. Rachael Eddy (Office Administrator). Rachael has a B.S. in Psychology and M.A. in Counseling from Ball State University. Rachael loves to cook and bake while experimenting with recipes to make them healthier. She also loves working with children and helping them to become more confident and grow into their potential.
Nikki Bolz (Instructor and Office Administrator). Nikki has a degree in exercise physiology and kinesiology from Illinois State and taught physical education for seven years in addition to coaching volleyball and softball. She also has a master’s degree from St. Xavier University in administration and spent seven years in management. She will be working in the office. Samantha Junusz (Gymnastics Instructor). Sam has taken 4 years of gymnastics and 8 years of tumbling. She cheered for Kahler Middle School and Lake Central High School and is an honor roll student.
